Ice Cream Truck Joins Ranks of Police Efforts

The City of Oak Park is adding an unconventional way to conduct community outreach. The city’s public safety department has unveiled a new ice cream truck. Officials hope the free ice cream will provide another opportunity for police to connect with residents. Oak Park City Manager.
