A new study released this week finds that the contamination in Flint’s water supply could be just the tip of a national iceberg.

The Natural Resources Defense Council estimates as many as 20 million people in the U.S. could be drinking water from systems that are in violation of federal standards..

The Council’s Health Program Director, Erik Olson, tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter some water systems violating lead-level standards appear as if they are not even being tracked by the government.
