Colorado’s Pot Culture

In 2012, Colorado voters legalized marijuana for recreational uses, joining a few other states in a trend that started with the idea of more humane legal treatment for those who use marijuana for medical purposes. According to a CNN article, tourists from around the world are now going to Colorado to get stoned legally, and businesses organizing pot tours are advertising nationally. According to the latest projections, total marijuana tax revenues are now expected to climb to $94 million annually by 2016. Aspen Public Radio’s Rob St. Mary joins Stephen to talk about the new pot culture in his state.
