November ballot proposal goes far beyond simply legalizing pot for recreational use
It looks like Michigan voters will decide in November whether to legalize recreational marijuana. Unless the state legislature votes to pre-empt the petition approved last week by the Board of Canvassers, voters will decide the question. But, the proposed law does more than legalize recreational pot. Howard and Howard Attorney, Alex Leonowicz specializes in marijuana-related laws. Leonowicz tells WDET’s Amy Miller that the law would also lay the groundwork for the new industry.
