Michigan Senator Gary Peters Working In Doublewide
Senator Peters discusses his work so far and his priorites moving forward including permanent office space
It’s been four months since former U.S. House member, Gary Peters, took the office of U.S. Senator for Michigan. Peters is getting settled in D.C., but the Russell Senate Office Building currently has no vacancy. That has forced Peters and his staff into a doublewide trailer for the time being.
Senator Peters has a sense of humor about it as he speaks with host Stephen Henderson. That is only one of of the topics covered in this in depth look at how Peters is setting his priorities and which bills have his name on them. Among other issues, Peters says he’s focused on wages, human trafficking and the criminal justice system.
