Jake Neher/WDET

Ari Shapiro is co-host of All Things Considered on NPR. He lives in Washington D.C. and has covered national politics for many years.

Shapiro has paid particular attention to what’s happening in Michigan the past few years. From our interesting political and voting dynamics, to the Flint Water Crisis, Ari has been following the story of our state and city. He’s back in Michigan again this week.

Shapiro joins Detroit Today host Stephen Henderson to talk about American politics, and about his career trajectory in public radio.
