DWSD Sued for Not Sharing Information About Relationship with Water Contractor

A national consumer watchdog organization is suing the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department for information regarding its relationship with a private water services contractor. Food and Water Watch says repeated requests for information on contracts and negotiations with Veolia North America have been ignored by DWSD. Veolia is a multi-national company that…among other thing, offers management and evaluation services for water systems and services.
