Shiraz Ahmed served as Digital and Audience Engagement Editor for 101.9 WDET from 2019-2020. He joined WDET after five years at Automotive News, a trade publication owned by Crain Communications, and GTB, an advertising agency. He is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

He is also a documentary filmmaker and photographer, currently producing “Alive in Detroit,” a film and social impact project on charity and low-cost healthcare.
