The founders of Michigan Fields had a desire to connect the community to local foods and knew residents of southeast Michigan had an appetite for Michigan products.

To fill that need, Drew Patrick started Michigan Fields, an online grocery store specializing in Michigan-grown foods. After the pandemic hit, the company adjusted quickly to fill demand and get local groceries on porches throughout the region.

In this episode:
  • Drew Patrick on starting an online grocery store during the pandemic.
  • Filling the need for home deliveries of Michigan-made foods.
  • Chef James Rigato on cooking beef liver, and why you should try it.
