Vote Run Lead organization pumps up women candidates
A divisive political climate in the United States may be inspiring some to become more involved in government. One organization is teaching women how to navigate the road to running for a political office. Vote-Run-Lead is a national not-for-profit co-founded by Michigan resident Shannon Garrett. She tells WDET’s Amy Miller that local, state and national political arenas need more diversity.
