City of Detroit Has Only Three Fully Licensed Medical Pot Shops

Officials say 161 facilities have been shut down over the last year+

“Only three are approved right now. There are some that are still going through the process. 61 of them are still going through the process. It is a process to go from application to approval” 

 

A new interactive map shows where Detroit’s licensed medical marijuana shops are located. It also identifies which ones are in the application process,which ones have been shut down and more.

The City of Detroit released the map this week to help residents who may have questions or concerns about facilities near their neighborhood.

According to Detroit officials, just three of the hundreds of medical pot shops in the city are fully licensed.
