Wanted: Housing for Homeless Veterans

MSHDA says many vets with housing vouchers are unable to find a place to live

Earlier this month Americans celebrated Veterans Day. As part of the recognition, the  Michigan State Housing Development Authority or MSHDA reported progress is being made with helping  homeless veterans find shelter.  But there are still are about 4-thousand homeless veterans across the state.  Kelly Rose is Chief Housing Solutions Officer for MSHDA. She tells WDET’s Amy Miller this is a good week to educate the public about homelessness among veterans.
