Index Finds CEO’s Believe Detroit is Open for Business

A new survey finds many CEO’s feel Detroit, post-bankruptcy, is ripe for investment.

The Troy-based Kresge Foundation says it has discovered a new narrative among business leaders: Detroit, post-bankruptcy, is now a good place to invest.

That’s one of the findings from the Foundation’s inaugural Detroit Reinvestment Index, a survey of more than 300 corporate decision-makers.

The head of the Kresge Foundation, Rip Rapson, tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter the index offers a snapshot of outsiders’ view of Detroit’s business prospects.
