Shakespeare’s first folio is headed to Detroit and you can learn more before you see it at Feb 25th event
The First Folio is the first collected edition of Shakespeare’s plays. It was published in 1623, seven years after the playwright’s death. It is coming to Wayne State next month. In advance of its arrival, Wayne State is holding another Knowledge on Tap event and this one will take a look at Shakespeare’s First Folio. It’s scheduled for Thursday, February 25th, at HopCat in Detroit. Ken Jackson; Chair of the Wayne State University English Department will be the featured speaker.
