Taking a closer look at the state-run exchanges

SCOTUS

No law in recent history has been the subject of the kind of sustained assault that the Affordable Care Act has endured. Congressional Republicans have voted more than 50 times to repeal it, and two legal challenges reached the Supreme Court, including one that was turned back Thursday by a broad coalition of the justices. Detroit Today Host Stephen Henderson discusses what the ruling means with Lance Gable, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Associate Professor of Law at Wayne State University Law School. He is also joined by Laura Appel, Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for the Michigan Hospitals Association.  And callers weigh in.
