Tech Town Detroit is Accepting Applications for Entrepreneur Boot Camp

Tech Town Detroit’s fourth “Retail Boot Camp” is accepting applications until the end of July. The camp is an eight-week program designed to teach entrepreneurial skills and provide resources to launch a successful business in the city.

Managing Director Regina Campbell says current small business owners will help teach the courses at the camp.

It’s important to have a well hands-on practical experience as well so we are engaging with past retail boot campers to share dialogue and experience on not only the program but what to take away from it in development and financing plan,” Campbell says.

Campbell says the camp will bring in business experts to teach planning, point-of-sales training, and more.

Program graduates will receive a $3,500 service package to help with their businesses.

Retail Boot Camp information sessions:

- Tuesday, June 30th at Always Brewing Detroit, 10180 Grand River Ave., 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
