Flood Warning Issued for Clinton and Lower Rouge Rivers

Both the Clinton and Rouge rivers are at flood stage.

The river was at 16.4 feet and rising Sunday morning.  Flood stage is 16.0 feet. 

The weather service says minor flooding is occurring and that the river should recede below flood stage by Monday morning. 

The National Weather Service has also issued a FLOOD WARNING for the Lower Rouge River in Dearborn and Inskter until further notice.

The river was a 10.2 feet and rising Sunday morning.  Flood stage is 10.0 feet.  The weather service says the water should be below flood stage Sunday night.
