Detroit rap phenom Danny Brown has been in the game for a minute now. His blunt outlook of urban life and his no-nonsense take on the hip-hop industry has made him one of the premier voices in modern music. A peer and personal friend, Compton’s Kendrick Lamar recently dropped his sophomore album, “To Pimp a Butterfly,” already deemed by many critics as an instant classic.
