Detroit Public Television Debuts PFAS Special “The Forever Chemicals” Thursday Night

Detroit Public Television’s initiative Great Lakes Now debuts a new half-hour special about PFAS chemical contamination Thursday night. Great Lakes Now is worked in partnership with MLive Media Group on “The Forever Chemicals.”
There will be expanded digital content and the special will be carried by other stations around the Great Lakes region. It airs on DPTV at 9 p.m.
Great Lakes Now Program Director Sandra Svoboda joins Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson, along with Paula Gardner, a reporter covering environmental news and policy for MLive. They discuss the project and the issues surrounding water contamination in and around Michigan.
