Created Equal April 29, 2024Atlantic staff writer Michael Powell joined the show to discuss whether the party can reconcile the good and bad of Bidenomics ahead of the November election.
President Joe Biden’s pitch to voters is simple: the economy is booming, jobs are plentiful, portfolios are swelling, let’s keep it all going for another four years.
But what about inflation? Biden says it’s drastically reduced from the height of the pandemic, but it is crushing people at the grocery store and everywhere else.
In a recent article titled “What the Upper-Middle-Class Left Doesn’t Get About Inflation,” by Atlantic staff writer Michael Powell, he points out this schism in the Democratic message.
Powell joined Stephen Henderson on Created Equal to discuss whether the Democratic Party can reconcile the good and bad of Bidenomics in time for the election in November.
