Employment agency says if you’re motivated and willing there’s a job available for you

Michigan’s unemployment rate dropped to 4.8% this month. That is just below the national average. Michigan Works Job Center CEO Greg Pitoniak says the 4.8% rate does not reflect the long term unemployed. Those are people who have stopped looking for work, many of whom lost their jobs during the recession. But Pitoniak tells WDET’s Amy Miller that now is a good time for anyone who is unemployed or underemployed and wants another job.
