February 27, 2020 is another school day for many children in southeast Michigan, though fewer districts are closed than there were the day before.

The National Weather Service says 5 to 6 inches of snow fell across the region from Tuesday night through Wednesday.

As of 6:30 a.m. the Detroit Public Schools Community District  and all public schools in Macomb, Lapeer, Livingston, Monroe, St. Clair and Washtenaw counties were closed Thursday due to weather. Nearly all districts in the tri-county area were closed, including:
