Are you ready to pitch your podcast?
As part of the Detroit Podcast Festival, 101.9 WDET, Detroit’s local NPR station, will be hosting a number of events including a podcast pitch competition. A panel of judges will review pitch submissions, select five finalists, and invite them to deliver their pitches in front of the competition judges on Saturday, June 29 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The winner will receive support, mentorship, and a $1,000 stipend from WDET towards the successful completion of a pilot episode for a new podcast. The winner will be announced the following week. Applicants must be available to attend the pitch competition on Saturday, June 29 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
