Making a film, especially with a small crew, can be filled with unexpected difficulties.

For the cast and crew though, there’s a huge payoff when a big crowd attends the film’s premiere.

Saturday, April 6 at the Southfield AMC, the new Detroit-made comedy ‘Birthday Behavior’ will debut.

The film has already sold out one theatre and is well on their way to selling out a second one.

Director Thomas Harris and legal council Shanthi Senthe spoke with CultureShift’s Amanda LeClaire to talk about the joys and struggles of making the film in Detroit.
