The Detroit Sound Conservancy celebrates seven years of saving the city’s musical legacy at the Detroit Historical Museum this week.
The group is the subject of a new exhibit showcasing the non-profit’s years of work recovering artifacts like the famous stage of the Blue Bird Inn jazz club and the legendary speakers of Detroit’s Club Heaven.
Listen to CultureShift’s Amanda LeClaire take a tour of the new exhibit with Conservancy founder Carleton Gholz at the link above.
