Mount Clemens and Belle Isle Offer Winter Fun This Weeked

It may be warmer over the next few days, but local families can still find winter celebrations this weekend.
Metro Parent Editor Julia Elliott says the Downtown Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show offers ice sculptures, fantasy face painting, a life-sized game of Candy Land and more. The event runs Saturday and Sunday.
Elliott also recommends Shiver on the River on Belle Isle today Saturday.
“Going to Belle Isle is always super fun,” Elliott says. “They’ve got all of these children’s activities. You can always see the aquarium, the conservatory and the nature zoo. It’s a nice winter festival right in the city.”
