English Arabic Story Time at the Arab American National Museum

Stories from across the world or close by.

The Arab American National Museum invites young children to English-Arabic Story Time Saturday.

The museum offers stories originally published in either language and read in both languages. Museum librarian Kirsten Terry Murphy says the event offers reading, language and cultural skills to children no matter their native language.

“Everybody’s welcome,” Terry Murphy said. “It’s just really anybody who has young children who’d like them to be close to reading and stories and playtime with other young kids.”

Craft and play time are offered after the reading. Story time starts at 10:30. It is free and held in the museum library. The museum hosts English Arabic Story Time on the 4th Saturday each month.
