Several southeast Michigan school districts announced Wednesday closures, hours ahead of the storm the National Weather Service predicts could drop several inches of snow on the region. A winter storm warning covers LIvingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties beginning at 10 a.m.
The Detroit Public Schools Community DIstrict will end classes two hours early for each building, Superintendent Nikolai Vitti said this morning.
