Congress continues to grapple with health care reform. But another item on the GOP agenda is still awaiting attention. That’s the issue of tax reform.

President Trump has proposed a 15% tax rate on business income, far less than the current maximum of 35%, as a way to spur job creation by small business owners in particular.

The head of the U.S. Small Business Administration is Linda McMahon, who with her husband Vince helped found the World Wrestling Entertainment empire.

McMahon is touring SBA’s 68 district offices across the country.

This week she’s in Metro Detroit.

McMahon tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that small business owners here echo the same concerns as their counterparts nationwide.
