On this weekend’s TPU, host Chris Campbell interviews/profiles Grammy-winning soul/jazz/pop chanteuse OLETA ADAMS and visiting various tracks from her music catalog along with interviewing international recording artist/producer ANDRES (aka DJ Dez) and sampling tracks from all eras of his discography.

There will also be a tribute to singer/songwriter LEON WARE (who transitioned this past week), with reflections on his legendary songwriting for various acts such as Minnie Ripperton, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones, Maxwell and others, in addition to his personal iconic discography.

We also delve into our usual excursions into electronica by way of deep house, future soul, techno, b-sides and rare groove.  This is music with no limits!  Catch all the action this Sunday, 8-11 pm EST on 101.9 WDET and wdet.org.
