The State of Michigan’s unemployment Insurance Agency is making big changes after big problems surfaced in it’s handling of alleged fraud cases. Nearly four years ago software used to determine eligibility for unemployment claims began flagging thousands of people for fraud that they never committed. Now the agency director has been replaced, software intended to weed out fraud is being modified and a class action lawsuit may be next. WDET’s Amy Miller reports
