Neighborhoods Day Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary
Hundreds of Detroit communities will take part in the annual event.
Communities across the city of Detroit will be out in force Saturday, enjoying festivals, cleaning up parks and meeting other residents.
It’s all part of the 10th annual Neighborhoods Day. Luther Keith is the Executive Director of Arise Detroit, the non-profit coordinating the event.
He spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn. Keith says it’s hard to believe how large the event has grown.
Neighborhoods Day takes place in hundreds of locations around Detroit Saturday.
