Democrat Hillary Clinton is considered by many to be her party’s presumed presidential nominee.

Rival Bernie Sanders says he will carry his bid for the White House to the Democratic National Convention.

And advisors to presumed Republican nominee Donald Trump say his path to the Oval Office could hinge on Michigan.

In fact members of Michigan’s Congressional delegation say Trump has a very real chance of winning the state in the November general election.

That delegation includes Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, a long-time supporter of Clinton.

Dingell tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter she’s proud Clinton might be the first woman ever nominated for president by a major party.

But Dingell says she wishes the occasion was not quite so historic.
