Mower Gang ready for 6th year tackling unkempt city parks
A volunteer troupe of people armed with weed whackers, rakes and mowers is kicking off its sixth season attacking grass and weeds in city parks. The Mower Gang finds neglected neighborhood parks and puts them back into use. WDET’s Amy Miller spoke with Detroit Mower Gang Leader Tom Nardone about how he developed his unusual pastime.
