The North American International Auto Show saw 815 thousand visitors this year, breaking the record in 2003. More than 50 cars made their world debut during the event.

Spokesperson Max Muncey says there is always a competition between the Big Three Automakers, but Chrysler stole the show.

“Chrysler had the largest exhibit on the show floor and if anybody had a chance to see it, it was like going to the theater,” Muncey says.  “They had lights and sounds and music playing. Each brand had its own little feel to it, and it all it up and it was awesome. You could hear it clear across the showroom floor.”

Muncey says because the show garners international attention automakers tend to bring their A-game with the exhibits. He says one visitor even compared the show to Universal Studios.
