President Obama’s recent executive order to stiffen the enforcement of gun control laws has ruffled some feathers. Stephen Henderson, host of Detroit Today, talks with Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia Team Leader, Mike Lackomar about the president’s action.
Causes: Lackomar believes that President Obama missed the main cause of gun violence. He thinks that the President should be concentrating on making improvements to the mental health industry.
Access: Lackomar says that access to firearms has never been the problem, saying “We’ve always had access to guns. Hundreds of years we’ve had access to weapons.”
