The Republican presidential candidates are preparing for their latest debate tonight, but some experts say one voting bloc is getting especially short shrift this election cycle: Arab Americans.

Many of those attending a political event this past weekend in Dearborn lamented that the presidential hopefuls seem to be taking the community for granted or simply ignoring it.

One attendee who disagrees is the CEO of the Democratic National Committee, Amy Dacey.

She tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that presidential contenders cannot afford to dismiss the concerns of Arab Americans.
