This Year’s State Fair to be Bigger than Last Year’s [MAP]
Michigan State Fair expands grounds, brings back equestrian show.
2015 will be the third year that the Michigan State Fair has been held since a private company took it over from the state and moved the event from Detroit to Novi. The Suburban Collection Showplace has nearly doubled in size since it started hosting the fair in 2013, and its owners recently acquired 43 more acres of land. State Fair Executive Director Steve Masters tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller that means more room for more attractions. The fair is scheduled for Labor Day weekend, September 4 through 7.
