Poll: Road Funding Ballot Proposal Very Unpopular

A recent poll finds those surveyed oppose the Proposal One ballot initiative by a three-to-one margin.

A recent survey finds that the state ballot initiative known as Proposal One which, if passed, would raise taxes to fix and maintain Michigan’s pockmarked roadways – may be in big trouble.

The poll, by the firm EPIC/MRA, shows those responding are against Proposal One by a massive three-to-one margin.

WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter talked with the co-founder of the firm – John Cavanagh – who says the more those surveyed learned about Proposal One the less they liked it.
