Current Superintendent Mike Flanagan will retire from the post at the end of June. Among the candidates being considered for the position is Scott Menzel. He serves currently as the Superintendent of the Washtenaw Intermediate School District. He has also been a superintendent for 13 years at various schools districts, and helped oversee the merger of the Ypslianti-Willow Run School Districts. He tells WDET’s J.
