Detroit’s Stef Chura Makes A National Splash With Debut Record

If you haven’t heard Stef Chura yet, you’re bound to soon. This homegrown act has received national attention via NPR Music, Pitchfork, Noisey and more.

On her debut record Messes (released via Urinal Cake Records), this emerging artist both warrants the knee-jerk comparisons to 1990s songstress Liz Phair as well as charts a path that is uniquely Chura’s own.
