WDET’s Ryan Patrick Hooper talks with comedian and actor Marc Maron, who you might know from the Netflix series “GLOW” or his popular podcast “WTF with Marc Maron.”

Maron will be perform at the Masonic Temple on Saturday night.

Starting with a weird obsession with Chuck Berry as a kid to diving deeper into the genre of jazz today via Nate Chinen’s latest book “Playing Changes: Jazz for the New Century,” Maron’s taste run from the avant garde of the Residents to Johnny Cash’s landmark album recorded at San Quentin.
