Behind the Quest to Preserve Detroit’s Punk Rock Music History

Rob St. Mary talks with Ann Delisi about his participation in the Cranbrook Art Museum exhibit Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die: Punk Graphics, 1976-1986 as well as his efforts to meet his Knight Arts Challenge grant that will allow him to create a website where people can record their memories of Detroit’s Punk Rock scene and educate those who visit the site about the importance of this time period in Detroit’s history. He also plans to curate compilation albums of this music that will include unreleased songs created here in the Motor City.
