Joanne Leider is the Program Director of Meditation Works, a mobile stress reduction company that opened in 2016 with the help of Leider’s son. Leider, who practiced yoga for about 15 years before launching the company, says meditation —unlike yoga— doesn’t require a lot of time or physical ability, but can have tremendous benefits for those who are willing to dedicate just 10 minutes of their day to practicing on a regular basis. While sitting inside one of the Meditation Works trucks, Leider says every inch of this earth-toned, softly lit space was designed to provide guests with optimal comfort and peace of mind.
