WDET is a recipient of 14 awards from the Detroit Society of Professional Journalists. Among the winners are stories and series produced by WDET’s news staff, including our coverage of Detroit’s bankruptcy as part of the Detroit Journalism Cooperative which has received ongoing support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Renaissance Journalism’s Michigan Reporting Initiative and The Ford Foundation.

Thank you to all of the WDET members, sponsors and funders that provide us with the resources to create award-winning news and conversations that are important to our community and give Detroit a thoughtful voice in the national dialogue.
