Courtney Hurtt is the Associate Director of Product Development and Business Operations for WDET. In this role, she streamlines both digital and in-person engagement initiatives to new and diverse audiences in innovative ways.
In the past, she has served as project manager for a number of WDET initiatives — including the exploration of new ways to sustain WDET's community engagement initiatives like Framed by WDET, an audio-visual project that showcases the diversity of the Detroit region through photojournalism and storytelling.
Courtney is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Cultures & Politics and has an MBA in Information Systems Management from Wayne State University.
