Each weekday on WDET when Detroit Today is finished, we go straight to On Point from WBUR Boston, a national public affairs show that dissects some of the most critical national topics and issues of the day. Now, some changes are coming to that program. Most importantly, it’s going from a two-hour show to a single hour. The program will continue to take deep looks at the news and issues affecting us all in this troubling time in America.

On Point host Meghna Chakrabarti joins Stephen Henderson to talk about programming changes to On Point and what they mean for the program as the nation grapples with a presidential election, a global pandemic and a changing social and cultural paradigm.
