We listened to Ed Love religiously every night during dinner and met him just after he returned to work after his stroke many years ago at the Birmingham Jazz Festival. My young daughter was always listening with me. She’s all grown up now, an NYC based professional musician with a love of jazz married to another jazz musician. It thrills me to no end.
