Ed! Congratulations on your 60th Anniversary broadcasting your encyclopedic knowledge of jazz on WDET. I have fond memories of being a musical guest artist performing on the air on your show with my trio several times in the WDET studio. Your keen ears immediately detected, with admiration, a slight melodic variation in the way I sang “Don’t Be That Way”. Thank you for always being supportive of Detroit’s jazz musicians and for being a continued inspiration!
