‘Run! Hide! Fight!’ – Wayne State University Preps for Random Violence
In the wake of the Parkland school shooting, students and faculty at Wayne State ready themselves for the worst.

The killing of 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida has re-ignited the national conversation on gun control and school safety. The issue also hit close to home in Michigan, following a shooting this month that left two parents dead on the campus of Central Michigan University. At Wayne State University, the recent violence was a reminder to prepare for the worst.
